Celebrating our Award Nominee Feature on a Leading Platform for Human-Centred App Design
We are thrilled to announce that our work on the CareLink app has been featured by DesignRush, a leading platform for finding top-tier creative and digital agencies. This recognition highlights our team's commitment to creating human-centred design solutions that make a real-world impact.
The CareLink project was a significant challenge: to design a user-friendly experience for a particularly vulnerable audience, the elderly and disabled, as they transitioned from the public switched telephone network (PSTN) to a new digital system. This change risked disrupting essential telecare services like pendant alarms and lifeline monitors. Our mission was to ensure a safe, seamless, and stress-free upgrade process.
Our design team adopted an empathetic approach, focusing on clarity, simplicity, and accessibility. The CareLink app features a streamlined, step-by-step journey that guides users through the migration. Key features include a real-time API-powered Device Checker to confirm hardware compatibility and a simple Engineer Booking tool for users needing assistance.
DesignRush praised our design for its user-first approach, noting how we transformed a complex technical process into a simple, five-step flow that minimises user anxiety. The review also highlighted the app’s accessibility features, such as large text and friendly illustrations, which were integral to our goal of providing care beyond the technical upgrade. This recognition from a respected industry authority like DesignRush is a testament to the power of thoughtful, purposeful design.
